A workshop for texts with impact. Whether you call it text optimization, copy editing or corporate editing, we simply call it editing. In the end it’s not the fancy labeling that’s important, but the result. Our result: texts whose content is conveyed using clear and concise language, in German as well as in English.

This is what we edit

The short ones and the long ones. Short brochures, thick business reports or online texts. We edit any text that you use to inform others or to get their attention. Always with genre and your target group in mind, and of course thoroughly and on time.

Logic and facts. Fact-checking, objective information and logical correlations are part of the job. We question conclusions, follow the main thread of logic and untangle any knots we find. And, if need be, we even count numbers.


Language and style. The choice of words, syntax, language style, readability and comprehensibility: we sniff out, tighten and rephrase anything bumpy, circumstantial or unintelligible and get rid of repetition. With or without a final proofreading, upon request.

This is how we edit

Confidently. Our motto: as little as possible, as much as necessary. But we can do it other ways, too: meaning, we rip your text apart and afterwards put it together anew. The extent to which we should intervene is something we like to discuss during a brief preliminary conversation.

Subtle. We copy edit in teams. Thus we’re able to find even the smallest of linguistic hiccups. Since we can enlarge our teams of editors if needed, we also redact considerable amounts of texts in a short time period, efficiently and reliably.


Expertly. No one is an expert for everything. Therefore, scientific texts will be edited for coherence and the correctness of technical terminology by assigned specialized editors only.

Constructively. We don’t know it all, but we can make it better. Hence we make suggestions for improvements that we also justify and comment on.


Ongoing. With the first assignment, we put together a list of your preferred vocabulary, wordings and linguistic characteristics. This way, next time we’ll know how you want things to be written and can thus ensure more consistency and continuity for all your printed media.

Flexibly. We work on demand, flexibly and reliably. Of course we can take on spontaneous assignments. Deadline shifts, short-notice changes in content or projects that have to be edited simultaneously won’t make us lose our cool.
