Free of mistakes and ready to print. Final editing means: finding mistakes, where no more are suspected. We examine all linguistic, graphic and typographic elements of your printer’s copy and review it intensely, thoroughly and consequently.

Flexible, competent and resilient. We adapt our workflow to your requirements: concerning the extent, implementation of corrections and team size. What always remains the same is our way to work: it stays scrupulous, meticulous and fast.


This is what we edit

Language & Style. We correct the spelling, grammar and punctuation as well as page breaks, expression, comprehensiveness, style and we unify dictions. Our offer also includes the shortening of texts or the formulating of headlines or captions.

Layout. We review your layout considering unity and completeness. We look for mistakes in the typeset text, wrong references between images and text, false formats and control whether all contextual and graphic structural elements are present.


Facts. Fact checking is of course part of all this. We examine all factual information for their correctness and topicality. Besides that we check logical interrelations within the publication and, if necessary, put them in their right place.

Typography. We pay special attention to typographic details. We make sure quotation marks, apostrophes and references are correct and consistent. The same of course applies to a homogenous type face.

Final editing as a team. We review your printer’s copies systemically in several determined working steps and according to our four-eyes principle.

Competent. We only need a short briefing concerning your preferred dictions, wording and expected extent of final editing. We take care of everything else ourselves.


Flexible. Whether we simply look for and erase formal mistakes or really intervene with the text, for example by shortening or rephrasing it: we respond to your wishes.

File formats. We recognize mistakes in about any format. We correct in Word, PDF or XML files. Of course also the old-school way with red pen on paper.
